Home | Generally speaking,
"Freethought" is a term used to denote the
application of reason, critical thinking, and logic to
human experience. While the term is commonly used to identify the rejection of supernatural and dogmatic belief, I feel that it is more appropriately used to describe a method or approach to understanding human existence. As Bertrand Russell stated, "What makes a free thinker is not his beliefs, but the way in which he holds them." |
